The Vermont Agency of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is preparing an environmental impact statement on transportation improvements from Interstate I-89 to Williston, Essex and Essex Junction. The study will take a fresh look at all issues and options, including the southern portion of the previously proposed Chittenden County Circumferential Highway.
